My Story
On 13th September 2018, I was given the news no one ever wants to hear — inoperable, terminal colon cancer.
-
Pathology: KRAS Wild Type, BRAF Mutated, CDX2 and CK20 Positive, CK7 Negative
-
Prognosis: 12–18 months
-
Treatment offered: Palliative chemotherapy only, for end-of-life pain management
It was devastating. But I knew I had to do everything I could to give myself and my family more time. I decided to take responsibility for my own health, alongside the palliative treatment I was offered, and began searching for every possible way to support my body and mind.
🔬 What I Chose to Do
Because palliative chemotherapy was only for pain relief and not curative, I began supporting myself straight away with various natural approaches. From there, I slowly built what I now call “my protocol.”
It wasn’t about rejecting medicine — it was about giving my body every bit of support I could.
Supplements & Natural Approaches (2018–2020)
I experimented with a wide range of things I believed might help. These were personal choices made at my own risk:
-
Cannabis oils containing CBD and (at the time) small amounts of THC, taken both orally and as suppositories (these were obtained legally overseas under that country’s laws)
-
Fenbendazole — a veterinary medicine I researched for its potential role in supporting health (not licensed for human use in the UK)
-
A mix of vitamins and minerals: D3 + K2, C, E, and B-Complex
-
Natural compounds such as curcumin, milk thistle, berberine, and black seed oil
-
Omega 3, olive oil, and coconut oil
-
Medicinal mushrooms: Lion’s Mane, Turkey Tail, and Cordyceps
-
Cellfood drops in water, plus green tea and lemon water daily
Note: These references are purely historical. They are not recommendations.
Lifestyle Changes
Just as important were the daily practices I committed to:
-
Reducing sugar and dairy, focusing on mostly plant-based foods
-
Cold water therapy, sea dips, breathwork, and fasting
-
Stress reduction, mindset work, and emotional healing
📈 Medical Timeline
-
Sept 2018 – Feb 2020: Scans every three months showed active, inoperable tumour
-
Feb 2020: PET scan – no active cancer, though tumour still marked inoperable
-
2020 – 2024: CT scans showed only scar tissue, no tumour
-
Feb 2025: Final scan confirmed remission
-
10 March 2025: Officially declared cancer free, with no sign of the inoperable tumour
🌿 Why I Started Life Oils
On this journey, I realised how inconsistent and poor-quality many supplements on the market were.
I wanted something I could truly trust, so I created Life Oils — a range of legal UK food supplements.
What began as a way to make sure my own supplements were clean and strong has grown into something with purpose:
-
Providing supplements that are transparent and reliable
-
Supporting people who want to take charge of their health naturally
-
Funding care packages for families facing cancer

📖 Road to Remission – The Book
I’ve written my story in Road to Remission. It isn’t just about my journey — it’s an honest account of the struggles, the lessons, and the things that helped me along the way.
💚 Every penny goes towards funding Life Oils Care Packages, which include legal food supplements and supportive resources.
🔁 Life After Remission
Since remission, I’ve kept to a maintenance protocol — not out of fear, but out of respect for my health.
I continue to use CBD, medicinal mushrooms, vitamins, minerals, and natural compounds like curcumin and milk thistle. Ali g with iodine and methyl blue. From time to time, I revisit other natural approaches I’ve researched, and continue to do a parasite cleanse every 4-5 months.
Equally important are the lifestyle practices I’ve kept: sea swimming, surfing, running, football, a balanced diet, and ongoing work on mindset and stress.
Life Beyond Cancer
Recovery gave me a second chance — and I promised myself I would use it fully.
Since then I’ve:
-
Completed a full marathon and several half marathons
-
Jumped from 16,000 ft in a skydive
-
Cycled 35 miles for charity
-
Kayaked 10 miles across Torbay
-
Climbed Mount Kilimanjaro 🏔️
-
Restarted my building company (2025)
-
Continued to grow Life Oils and support others
-
